Charlie Agreda is President and owner of Condor Industries, Fort Lauderdale, FL. a provider of machining services for the Aerospace and Energy industries. After founding Evolution Aero of South Windsor, Connecticut 34 years ago, and growing it into a 100,000 square foot modern manufacturing operation, Agreda was ready for another challenge. In 2015 he acquired Florida Eagle Industries, a Pompano Beach, Florida based manufacturing company which he reorganized and renamed Condor Industries. The company recently purchased a 40,000 square foot facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL. where he oversaw the renovation, build-out and move, to increase capacity and integrate new technologies.
Phil has over 40 years in the Aerospace industry. Phil’s career began in 1979 as an apprentice Engineer at Florida Tool and Gage in Plantation Florida. After 9 years there working as a Process Engineer and CNC programmer, he joined Florida Eagle Industries in 1987 as Engineering Manager & Estimator. Phil worked with Customer CI teams and was instrumental in helping Florida Eagle industries achieve UTC Supplier Gold status 5 consecutive years. In 2008 he was promoted to General Manager overseeing manufacturing, administration and quality, while maintaining close relations to customers purchasing and engineering personnel.
Doug is a veteran of the US Coast Guard, and a holder of a BS in Chemistry from Manchester University. Doug is originally from Indiana where he worked for Interstate Machine Tool. From 1972-1983, he owned his own business supporting the automotive industry. Doug re-settled to Boca Raton Florida and joined Florida Eagle in 1986 as an inspector in the quality department and was promoted to the position of QCM in 1998. Doug has over 50 years of experience in the Aerospace and Automotive industries.
Originally from South Carolina Jannie relocated to South Florida in 1979. She was a dedicated member of the Quality teams at Aero (Garrett) Hydraulics and Wilson Concepts of Florida for her first 7 years in Florida. Jannie was the QCM at Certified Metal Finishers (CMF) for 21 years before joining Florida Eagle as our materials compliance officer in 2007. Jannie has over 39 years in the Aerospace and Commercial industries.
Dan has been working in this industry for 40+ years, progressing from machinist to CNC programmer then manufacturing manager. He is a veteran who joined Florida Eagle in 1985 and just refuses to leave. Dan studied mathematics, computer programming, and physics at Florida Atlantic University and enjoys applying that training in his current position as a manufacturing engineer. He helped Florida Eagle achieve AS9100 certification and PWA ACE Gold status, and has been trained in Process Certification, auditing, CMM inspection, and CAD/CAM. He believes in the people he works with and does anything he can to help make their jobs easier and more productive.
Dave has 39 years’ experience in metal cutting, the majority in the Aerospace Industry. He began as a machinist apprentice in 1980 learning to run mills, lathes, and grinders. In the mid 80’s Dave learned to program CNC machines for an Aerospace Manufacturing Co. in Deerfield Beach, where he advanced to Lead Programmer and Set-Up man. In 1993 Dave Joined Florida Eagle Industries as the programmer and lead-man for the Lathe Dept. In 2006, Dave was promoted to Process Engineer, while maintaining his duties as CNC programmer and Lead-Man of the Lathe Department and assisting with programming CNC Mills.
Debbie McCoy was a Service & Warranty Specialist in the accounting office at JM Family Enterprises before joining Florida Eagle in 1992 as a receptionist and assistant in the accounting department. During her time here her role expanded to working with customers and contracts. She has been our Contracts Administrator for 20 + years and has an excellent rapport with all our customers and suppliers.
